  • Project Title: The project title is typically the official name of the project, or at least the working name. For example, if you were creating a schedule to renovate a school, the project might be titled "Hometown Elementary School Renovation".
  • Project Description: The project description can be nearly anything, and is provided for revision names, comments, project details, or any other conceivable use. For example, if creating the preliminary schedule for the renovation of a school, the project description might be "Hometown Elementary School Prelim. Rev 2a w/Codes."
  • Project Start: The project start date is the earliest date any activity can begin. Activities without predecessors will start on this date if no other restrictions are in place when scheduled.
  • Default Calendar: The default calendar provides a basic workday calendar for your project. Holidays and other non-work can be added through the Calendar Creator after creating the project.

Clicking OK will create a new project with one initial activity and start you out in the Barchart View.
