The appearance of activities in the Barchart view is very flexible making it possible to configure different types of activities to stand out from the rest of the schedule and make it easier to identify them. It is also possible to add additional activity information displayed next to the activity. Every bar's appearance can be changed from this window including each comparison's activities if comparisons are setup. The top portion lists all available bar types you can change. Selecting any one of them will show it's current settings in the Configure Bar Appearance area. From there, you can click on any area of the activity to change it's options.

Activity information can be added to activities by clicking on any of the outside 8 boxes around the activity in in Configure Bar Appearance area. Adding text to any of the left 3 boxes will result in that text being drawn before the start date of those activities. Adding text on the right will result in that text being drawn after the finish date. The center three boxes are for configuring the bar and endpoints of any activities.

Note: Any text added to the top or bottom of any activities will collapse on top of the activity if the row size is too small to fit it. Remember to change the row size accordingly from the rows configuration page in the format window.
